Event Concept Strengthens Global Presence with Launch of New North American Division

London, U.K.-based creative event design and production agency Event Concept (EC) is expanding into the U.S. market with a new division in North America. The new division brings EC’s unique blend of creative agency thinking and production expertise in brand-led B2B event experiences to the U.S.
The North American launch comes on the heels of a period of organic growth for the business across global and U.S. markets, alongside the agency’s successful repositioning in spring 2024.
Backstory
Established in 1994, EC boasts more than 30 years of experience creating events for major global brands, including EY, Intuit, Bank of America, Bloomberg, and more. The agency provides a comprehensive range of event production services, including creative design, project management, content and technical production, scenic construction, floral design and styling, digital and virtual services, and more. With a team of more than 140 in-house creatives, strategists, makers, and producers, the company works closely with venues, caterers, and marketing, PR, and communications companies to deliver hundreds of events annually across various sectors, including awards shows, conferences, exhibitions, brand activations, and intimate events such as weddings and media launches.
Growth Strategy
Geared to capitalize on opportunities in the Northeast U.S. market, EC’s new division will leverage the organization’s growth momentum and the increasing demand for more innovative, high-quality corporate events, according to EC officials.

“This expansion marks an important next step in our growth, following a period of steady development in global and U.S. markets,” explained Adam Stanley, EC managing director. “We’re excited to deepen our partnerships with leading brands in the Northeast U.S, delivering events that provide real, measurable value, and business impact. Our focus on strategy, bold creative thinking, flawless execution, and collaboration will ensure we continue to set new benchmarks for excellence.”
Key Players
EC’s North American division will be spearheaded by Kate Connell, global project director, and James Connell, production director, who will both report directly to Stanley.
With more than 15 years of experience producing high-profile, multi-faceted events across the U.K. and for global corporate clients, Kate Connell will continue to head up EC’s team of producers in the U.K. and the U.S., as well as lead the North American office.
Having overseen EC’s significant growth in production capability over the last 16 years, James Connel brings a wealth of experience to the new division, including deep expertise in complex technical design and production delivery. In his expanded role, he will continue to lead production teams across the UK and U.S. alongside Kate and will be tasked with overseeing the successful delivery of major global projects.
“With the launch of our new North American division, we’re thrilled to bring EC’s unique approach to event design and production to the U.S. market,” Kate McConnell said. “Our team is deeply committed to crafting meaningful experiences that not only captivate audiences but also drive real business outcomes for our clients.”
