MCI Group Acquires Majority Stake in ONE Communications and Marketing Group
MCI has added the Middle East-based ONE Communications and Marketing Group (ONE CMG) to its portfolio of brands.
ONE CMG is formed of industry leading agencies across advertising and brand communications, digital marketing, content marketing and video production, public relations, events and publishing. The acquisition brings Turret Media, Saluki Media, tmh, ONE PR and ONE Digital under the MCI umbrella.
Ajay Bhojwani, managing director of MCI Middle East, believes that the collaboration with ONE CMG will further strengthen MCI’s presence within the region.
“It not only increases our talent capacity by three times, it more importantly adds to our creative and marketing service offering,” Bhojwani said.
He continued, “Moving forward, we will further increase the scope of our partnership in various fields and continue to innovate our combined service portfolio.”
MCI already owns a number of diverse brands. Its eponymous brands, MCI Group and MCI Experience, provide clients with a range of design, management, marketing, and logistics services around face-to-face and digital meetings, events and exhibitions.
Chris Fountain, group managing director and co-owner, ONE CMG, who has managed the business for more than 10 years, is excited to take the business forward with MCI Group.
“The partnership will see us collaborate on future projects whilst building business across our client portfolios, and we look forward to profitable growth across the group business,” said Fountain.
The companies are already on track to create new events in Europe, Canada, Australia and the United States.
