PCMA Aligns with JUNO for Events and Year-Round Community Engagement

November 12, 2021

The Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) has partnered with software company JUNO to offer an enhanced platform for its audiences to experience content and connect with each other year-round.

“This platform enables PCMA to extend our digital strategy beyond events and connect our global community to continue conversation and learning,” said Sherrif Karamat, PCMA’s president and CEO, during the announcement on Nov. 10 at IMEX America in Las Vegas. “We are excited to partner with JUNO to offer an enhanced experience for our audiences to connect and engage with one another.”

PCMA chose JUNO because it provided a platform to successfully collaborate and engage with its communities and allow its audiences to connect and engage with one another.

“PCMA is focused on human connections—connecting people with purpose to ideas and opportunities,” Karamat said, adding that fostering human connections from a single platform allows organizations to save time and money while reducing uncertainty for members, sponsors and staff.

The 365-day experience will begin with PCMA’s Convening Leaders conference, set for Jan. 9-12 at Caesars Forum in Las Vegas. JUNO will be home to the content, and with its companion app will enable connections that cross borders and break boundaries, according to Karamat.

JUNO will allow PCMA to continue to deliver connections, content and opportunities that advance the objectives of its stakeholders, whether the experiences occur in-person or via digital technology.

“We are thrilled to work alongside the PCMA events team and its chapters to engage people in our virtual environment year-round,” said Josh Hotsenpiller, CEO of JUNO. “A single destination platform may start with an event, but it quickly expands into an immersive data-driven experience. Events are catalysts for the community, engagement and knowledge sharing that advances societies.”

JUNO’s platform is designed to support events being part of a 365-day conversation that encourages interactions and furthers education.

Hotsenpiller added that JUNO will help PCMA create a single destination platform enhanced by powerful AI tools to personalize content recommendations and create more meaningful connections.

“The more the community uses the platform, the more the platform serves up relevant content and networking of most interest to PCMA users,” he said. “That experience elevates brand and keeps members returning again and again.”
