New Coaching Service Empowers Event Planners to Break Career Barriers

July 16, 2024

To address the meetings and events industry’s gender gap in leadership roles and equitable pay, talent platform Soundings recently launched Soundings Elevate, a new customized career coaching service created to help elevate the careers of business event professionals.

“I am deeply passionate about advancing the careers of women, not only as a female founder and business owner who has navigated these challenges but also as a leader who believes in the transformative power of diversity and inclusion for driving equity, innovation, and collective business success,” said Tracy Judge, founder and CEO of Soundings, which connects organizations with freelance and full-time professionals specializing in business events.

Designed to accelerate career advancement and progression into leadership roles by providing a safe space for individuals to overcome personal barriers preventing them from achieving their career aspirations, the new career coaching products also address organizational and social challenges such as inadequate mentorship and limited networking opportunities.

Soundings Elevate coaching services include:

·  Strengths Assessment and Coaching: Once participants gain access to Gallup’s StrengthsFinder assessment to identify their top five strengths, a professional coach will review the results and link the strengths to their career paths.

·  Career Accelerator: A three-month, cohort-based career development journey that includes bi-weekly coach-led sessions to help participants develop their professional skills while also fostering networking and peer support.

·  1:1 Coaching: Participants can access Soundings’ team of professional, certified coaches with industry knowledge dedicated to helping individuals leverage their strengths and navigate obstacles impeding their career goals.

“Our team views the launch of the Soundings Elevate career coaching products as more than just an expansion of our services—it’s a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment where all professionals, especially women, have the resources and opportunities to thrive,” said Judge.
