BizBash’s New Leadership Summit Will Map the Future of the Meetings and Events Industry

March 21, 2022

Event and meetings industry media company BizBash is launching a think tank designed to help create a roadmap for the future of the meetings and events industry.  A major component of the BizBash Live springtime program, the new BizBash Leadership Summit will take place May 22-24 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, alongside the Connect Spring Marketplace at the Puerto Rico Convention Center.

Designed to be an intimate gathering for industry thought leaders to share ideas and resources to power the next generation of events, the high-level event is expected to attract approximately 30 executives from experiential agencies, event technology companies and corporate brands who will have the chance to participate in one-to-one appointments, interactive activations, education and more.

According to BizBash officials, the highly curated gathering will enable experience creators to meet face-to-face to exchange ideas, share knowledge and learn from one another. BizBash Founder and Chairman David Adler will moderate the discussion, which will become the basis for research and publications produced by BizBash to be shared to help guide the entire industry.

Topics will include:

  • The Digital Future
  • The Engagement Dilemma
  • The New Partnership Paradigm
  • The Best Methods to Work With C-Suite Executives

“The purpose of BizBash is to allow creators to peek over the fence to see what others are doing,” Adler explained. “This think tank creates an interactive approach for a giant mash-up of the best of all worlds, so that creators build on each other’s creativity and insights.”

He added, “We are entering a new era of events, and if done correctly, the blending of irreplaceable in-person gatherings with innovative technology and inspiring event design will shape a better way of gathering.”

Along with creative networking opportunities and educational components, the Leadership Summit will also include a preview of best practices and business processes to optimize meetings and events and turn them into can’t-miss gatherings.

“This think tank will be a breeding ground for groundbreaking ideas that will no doubt shape how all kinds of events are produced,” said BizBash President Matt Johnson.

The Leadership Summit is just one of many key steps the media company is taking to reinvigorate events, as it positions itself to be a leading force in shaping experiential events that top brands and companies produce.

Another initiative it recently put in place is the BizBash Hosted Buyer Experience, in which 300 high-level event organizers and marketers will travel with all expenses paid to BizBash’s 2022 live events, including the Leadership Summit and BizBash National, taking place Aug. 8-10 as part of Connect Marketplace in Detroit.

At these high-level gatherings, attendees will have the chance to meet with the industry’s leading experiential and event technology vendors via one-on-one appointments powered by an on-site AI-based matching solution that determines the optimal one-on-one networking opportunities for hosted buyers.
