Aventri Forms New Partnerships to Offer Virtual Event Services

March 20, 2020

Event management solution company Aventri is partnering with three digital event providers — Digitell, Evia and Intrado Digital Media — to help customers who have had to rethink their events in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak. These new offerings will provide all current Aventri customers and any event planners globally with the option to move their events to a virtual platform or to add a digital component to any event.

“Most people with events happening soon are thinking about what to do if they can’t hold events as planned,” says Jim Sharpe, CEO of Aventri. “They want to know they have a back-up plan. This is why it was so important for us to provide our clients with actionable alternatives to cancelling.”

Digitell, Evia and Intrado Digital Media each offer a unique approach to specific use cases in the meetings and events industry. Sharpe says the goal of these partnerships is to provide the market with multiple solutions to continue to connect over shared interests, content and events, no matter where in the world their attendees may be.

  • Digitell, Inc. specializes in assisting organizations with ways to leverage their educational content online, from developing customized solutions to capturing, delivering and managing online education. Services are designed to engage users as they access live streams, webinars and on-demand education.

  • Evia offers digital event and media distribution solutions to companies of all sizes. Evia’s latest product, the Evia Player, is an intelligent cloud-based video player that uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to make content more accessible, noticeable and engaging.

  • Intrado Digital Media offers an end-to-end communications solution that allows customers to listen, create, connect, deliver, amplify and measure. Virtual events platform INXpo, now owned by Intrado, provides full and self-service options for creating stimulating, measurable and secure online events, as well as webcasting and streaming services.

Event planners will need to sign a separate contract with the provider of their choice, but Aventri officials say that the three companies will take the Aventri partnership into account when calculating pricing.

“Attendees want multiple ways to consume content and are looking for events that provide them with the option to join in-person, online, and through their personal devices,” Sharpe says. “Our partnerships with Intrado Digital Media, Digitell and Evia provide a proven way to deliver engaging, data-rich and interactive digital experiences that drive real value for our customers, exhibitors and attendees.”

Aventri officials say that the company’s account managers will work with their customers to move the event to the digital platform of choice, and will provide whatever support is needed to make the change smooth for organizers and their attendees.
