As we get closer to year-end, our thoughts turn to holidays, peace, love joy, harmony, goodwill to all … and what better way to start your holiday season than by taking the CEN annual reader survey?

Our brief (less than 10 minute) reader survey drills down on the topics and types of content that you care about, and is also a great way to let us know if there is anything we’re missing — or anything we missed the boat on.

Still debating? In our last survey, you indicated that you like “listicles” aka “Top X” lists, so here are five reasons you should take the survey now.

1. It’s only 8 questions long — and most are multiple choice.

This isn’t the SAT (or GRE or LSAT or any other test better known by its acronym). We’re asking simple questions that you shouldn’t have to think much about, because you’ll already know the answers.

2. It should take less than 10 minutes of your time.

We know you’re busy. But we’re sure that an 8-minute break (that’s how long SurveyMonkey estimates it will take you) is just what you need to refresh yourself.

3. Your feedback helps us deliver the content you want.

There’s no point in sharing news and information if nobody’s reading it! We want to make sure you are finding value in our content — and learn where we can improve.

4. Sharing your goals and challenges helps your peers.

Last year, we used survey data to create an infographic, The Top 11 Challenges That Corporate Event Managers Face, that still ranks as one of our most highly read articles.

5. You could win a $100 gift card!

If the other reasons aren’t enough for you to take the survey, we also are offering an added incentive: qualified participants will be entered into a raffle a $100 gift card, which will be conducted in early February once the survey is closed. We have two to give away and you could be a lucky winner!

This is your chance to provide feedback and input to help shape our content as we go forward, and we hope you’ll take a few minutes to participate. And if you haven't already subscribed to our weekly e-newsletter, now is a great time to do that as well. Every Wednesday, you'll get the digest of the articles and blogs from the previous week directly in your inbox (once you make sure it doesn't go to spam, that is).

If you haven’t already clicked on one of the many links, to take the survey, click HERE.
