Get a Crash Course in Innovation With CEMA and Corporate Event News

July 22, 2019

Corporate event professionals are often too busy getting things done to focus on creativity. But innovative event design and event marketing is what helps businesses stand out from the crowds.

That’s why CEMA and Corporate Event News have teamed up to bring you an exclusive event that will help spark your creativity, ignite new ideas, and provide networking opportunities with your peers — in a "no selling" environment.

CEMA Roadtrip: The Theory of Creativity will be held on October 10, 2019 (with an opening networking reception on October 9) at the Sheraton Grand Chicago.

This one-day workshop, presented by innovation and creativity consultant Duncan Wardle, is designed to teach participants how to create an “innovation light switch” that can be turned on at any moment to access creative problem solving and new ideas.

After 25 years with Disney — most recently as Head of Innovation and Creativity — Wardle founded id8 & innov8 in 2017 to help organizations embed innovation into everyone’s DNA. He has created a unique design thinking toolkit that makes creativity tangible, innovation easy and the process fun.

Over the past two years, Wardle has presented at meetings industry events including MPI WEC, CEMA Summit, IBTM World, and a TSNN “Ask Me Anything” live video session. And he never fails to inspire, getting rave reviews from attendees. I’ve heard him present three times and am still excited to have the opportunity to attend this workshop.

Effectively, the workshop is a crash course in innovation. Each participant will leave with an actionable set of creative behaviors and innovation tools designed to help them foster a culture of innovation and creativity within their organization

Attendance is limited to corporate event professionals (must be employed or contracted directly by a corporate brand hosting its own events), although we do have a small allocation of passes for representatives from sponsoring companies.
