Aloft Philadelphia Downtown Now Open for Meetings

September 3, 2017

The Aloft Philadelphia Downtown, a new, contemporary hotel in the former Liberty Title & Trust Building on Philadelphia’s iconic North Broad Street, opened for business on Aug. 31.

The new hotel features a modern, free-flowing design, while maintaining details from its 1925 construction such as the second-floor lobby’s grand ceiling and colossal windows.

Directly attached to the Pennsylvania Convention Center, Aloft Philadelphia Downtown is particularly convenient for small corporate events. The hotel offers 1,200 square feet of flexible function and event space: Exchange (644 square feet), Tactic (582 sq. ft.) and the “Backyard” chic outdoor terrace with firepit (800 sq. ft) are available for hosting meetings and receptions.

The meeting spaces feature A/V equipment, 50" flat-screen TVs with laptop connectors and DVD players, and complimentary high-speed WiFi. Easels, flipcharts, whiteboards and catering can be provided to fuel a hands-on brainstorming session.

Planners requiring room blocks can take advantage of the Aloft’s 179 loft-inspired guest rooms ranging from 206 to 423 sq. ft., each with their own distinct design and layout. Large-scale windows offer breathtaking views of Philadelphia, while nine-foot ceilings complement the hotel’s airy design.

The hotel also features the W XYZ bar, which will host live music from local musicians as part of the Live at Aloft Hotel series. Other amenities include 24/7 access to a fitness center, complimentary WiFi, and grab-and-go marketplace equipped with everything from light meals and healthy bites to make-your-own cappuccinos.

In addition to offering direct access to the Pennsylvania Convention Center, Aloft Philadelphia Downtown’s central location provides a gateway to the city’s charming neighborhoods, bustling business district, prime nightlife and top restaurants. Situated one block from City Hall, the property also is just steps from Reading Terminal Market, Independence Hall, Philadelphia’s renowned Museum Parkway and the world-famous LOVE statue.

Aloft Philadelphia Downtown is located at 101 North Broad Street between Arch and Race Streets. For more information on the hotel’s function and event space, visit www.aloftphiladelphiadowntown.com or call +1 (215) 418-4981.
