MPI Academy Certificate Courses — at IMEX America and Beyond

The MPI Academy provides certificate programs for meeting and event professionals that are designed to enhance critical job skills on a wide variety of topics. The organization's educational portfolio has been growing at a rapid pace. In addition to certification courses in meeting and event management, courses are now available on the business value of meetings, emergency preparedness, sustainability, experiential events and more.

Now, the academy is bringing its high-level certificate programs to Las Vegas for IMEX America this October. Three courses will be offered in conjunction with the IMEX event:
 

Course: Healthcare Meeting Compliance
Date and Time: Oct 14, 1:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Over 1,200 healthcare meeting professionals recently received their Healthcare Meeting Compliance Certificate. Understanding the impact of new regulations and laws on health care reporting is essential for Planners/suppliers.
 

Course: Crisis Communications
Date and Time: Oct. 15, 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
When a crisis occurs at an event, knowing how to communicate with your attendees and stakeholders is paramount. Learn to create a crisis communications plan for your event and make critical decisions for your organization.
 

Course: Women in Leadership
Date and Time: Oct. 15, 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Women play key roles in the meeting and hospitality industries, but many find it challenging to move into leadership positions. Learn to create a personal action plan and overcome the most common career obstacles women face.
 

Melissa Majors, director of MPI Academy, says that the training organization is working closely with the community of meetings professionals it serves to deliver educational enablement solutions that surpass their expectations. Results thusfar, she reports, have included record-breaking satisfaction, increased learning program consumption and transformational performance.

MPI Academy programs may be delivered online, live-online, or in-person throughout the year, and are open to all meeting and event professionals. Prices vary based per course.
