Event professionals now have two new property options by Omni Hotels & Resorts to take advantage of for meetings and events: Omni PGA Frisco Resort in Frisco, Texas, and Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU in Tempe, Ariz.

Omni PGA Frisco Resort

Spread over 660 acres, Omni Frisco Resort offers 500 guest rooms and suites, as well as numerous amenities.

Two championship courses designed by architects Gil Hanse and Beau Welling anchor the resort, in addition to 13 restaurant and bar concepts; a world-class Mokara Spa; four pools; retail and entertainment; and 10 exclusive four-bedroom ranch houses.

“Omni PGA Frisco Resort really embodies where we are going as a brand and how we can meet all of the needs of our guests,” said Kurt Alexander, president of Omni Hotels & Resorts. “Our goal was to capture the authentic spirit of a modern Texas ranch and bring it to life through extraordinary design, inspired food and beverage concepts, and warm, approachable service. This new flagship does exactly that.”

The resort also features more than 127,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, including the 22,000-sq.-ft. Ryder Cup Ballroom, complemented by the 11,500-sq.-ft. Wanamaker Ballroom. Additionally, the resort offers the 5,000-sq.-ft. Panther Creek Pavilion, featuring an elegantly rustic setting and an adjoining patio and event lawn.

"This first-of-its-kind resort marks an exciting milestone for Omni Hotels & Resorts,” said Jeff Smith, vice president and managing director of Omni PGA Frisco Resort. "It’s an ambitious concept where we get to showcase the best of Texas while casting a spotlight on Frisco as a unique destination experience for visitors and locals alike.”

Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU

On April 28, the Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU opened with more than 300 guest units at the intersection of University Drive and Mill Avenue in downtown Tempe.

The Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU is a $125 million investment and part of a public-private partnership with Arizona State University (ASU) and the City of Tempe.

“The opening of Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU marks a major milestone for our city. The name and legacy of the Omni brand introduces a new level of hospitality to Tempe and will provide yet another experience opportunity for those who want to visit our community,” said Tempe Mayor Corey Woods. “Tempe already is an excellent tourism and business destination. The addition of Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU will only improve that.”

Each of the hotel’s 330 guest rooms and 11 suites are steeped in earthy textures and urban comforts, and the hotel features nearly 36,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor meeting spaces, including the largest ballroom in Tempe.

The hotel also brings four new culinary outlets to the neighborhood, including a rooftop bar and restaurant.

"The City of Tempe is leading the way when it comes to growth and development in the state with over 4 million visitors a year, according to the Tempe Tourism Office," said Todd Gagnon, general manager of Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU. "Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU is a reflection of the vibrant local culture that gives this community its distinct energy.”

Gagnon added that the goal was to create an exceptional environment for students, visitors and locals alike.

“Whether visiting from out of town or here for a staycation, you can truly immerse yourself in everything that makes Tempe special," he said.
