Harrah’s Las Vegas Unveils the Chic Results of Its $200 Million Renovation Project

June 16, 2021

Harrah’s Las Vegas has officially unveiled the fruits of its $200 million investment in a massive renovation project that includes 2,542 redesigned guest rooms, a complete casino floor remodel and exterior enhancements in the form of two new LED marquees at the property’s north and south entrances.

“As a flagship location of the iconic gaming and hospitality brand, revamping Harrah’s Las Vegas not only enhances the guest experience but also further reflects the fun and energy that makes Las Vegas such a unique travel destination,” said Harrah’s Las Vegas Senior Vice President and General Manager Dan Walsh, who on June 10 ceremoniously switched on the new purple lighting on the building’s exterior to commemorate the new enhancements.

He added, “We look forward to seeing our guests enjoy all that Harrah’s Las Vegas offers, especially this summer.”

Following the first two renovation phases of 1,622 Valley Tower rooms in 2016 and 2018, Harrah’s completed the redesign of all of its 2,542 rooms and suites in 2020, including the Mountain Tower with an additional investment of $70 million.

Designed by Marnell Architecture, the refreshed guest rooms feature bold purple and blue hues complementing cream-colored décor, dark wood accents and contemporary fixtures. Each room offers an oversized backlit vanity station, in addition to the backlit vanity mirror in the modern bathroom. In select rooms, guests can also enjoy stunning views of the city or the High Roller Observation Wheel.

The resort’s redesigned suites feature additional highlights including ceramic dark plank tile flooring, a separate living and dining area with a wet bar and entertainment area, an oversized soaking tub and the option for two connecting bedrooms with a king bed and two queen beds. These suites are part of the Caesars Suites program that allows guests to book more than 2,000 suites and villas within Caesars Entertainment’s Las Vegas portfolio on its comprehensive website.

Harrah’s also transformed its casino floor into an elegant gaming atmosphere featuring upgraded lighting, floor and ceiling tiling, carpeting and modern restrooms. Upon entering the main lobby, an oversized ombré art piece with purple and blue hues behind the front desk attracts the eye, along with additional design highlights such as marble floors and counters, and contemporary bronze columns with wood paneling.

Additionally, the center-Strip resort provides convenient, direct access to the 550,000-square-foot CAESARS FORUM Conference Center via the CAESARS FORUM Skybridge. The new conference center is hosting its first large conference, Meeting Professionals International’s World Education Congress, June 15-17.

While at Harrah’s, guests can also enjoy a potpourri of hotel, dining and entertainment offerings including The Spa at Harrah’s Las Vegas, PizzaCake by Buddy Valastro and Donny Osmond’s first-ever solo residency.

Harrah’s Las Vegas is owned and operated by Caesars Entertainment, Inc., the largest casino-entertainment company in the U.S. The company’s extensive hospitality portfolio boasts 50 properties with more than 2.1 million square feet of meeting space and more than 50,000 guest rooms.
