EventPower Releases New Services and Tools for Live and Hybrid Meetings

April 29, 2020

Conference management service and software provider eventPower has launched new services and tools to help planners with live, virtual and hybrid events. Clients can choose from fully managed solutions (working with eventPower’s meeting planners) or software as a service tools.

“We wanted to improve the efficiency of the existing sales process and create a software that ultimately seeks to increase revenue for our existing and future clients,” said Laurie Powell, eventPower’s vice president of business development, in reference to the new exhibit selection and management tool.

Frank Powell, president of eventPower, said that the company is also looking to redefine the attendee, speaker, sponsor and exhibitor experience for live events in the future. This includes evaluating solutions for ways to make events and meetings safer for everyone involved, including spreading out check-in stations at the registration area, adding hand washing stations and developing sponsorship opportunities to provide attendees with hand sanitizer or face masks.

“Not all events can migrate to a virtual environment, but all need to adapt to a new normal,” he said.

Take a look at the new offerings:

New registration software sends attendees a custom registration email for any client postponing their event. Attendees have the option to donate their registration fees or easily transfer their registration to the new date.

Hybrid events: eventPower is adding new features to existing technology and integrating with partners who offer advanced solutions in the virtual event space. In addition to presentations, exhibitors and sponsors can feature products and services, perform demonstrations and network in a virtual environment.

Exhibit selection and management tool: This gives exhibitors and sponsors the ability to self-contract. The process streamlines the selection, contracting and management of exhibitors and sponsorships for shows of all sizes, featuring:

  • self-contracting ability for exhibitors and sponsors
  • simplified and easy customization for exhibitor/sponsor contract changes
  • integration with ExpoCAD enabling automatic booth assignment
  • automatic generation of exhibitor/sponsor invoices
  • flexible sponsorship definition and management
  • multiple pricing tiers, pavilions and other features for complex floorplans
  • personalized online prospectus featuring current sponsors
  • custom sales reports that help forecast future sales
