Corporate Event News Launches “Get Strategic with Christy Lamagna” Blog

January 30, 2018

Corporate Event News is pleased to announce the launch of a new dedicated blog designed to help corporate event professionals become more strategic. “Get Strategic with Christy Lamagna,” hosted on the Corporate Event News website, will feature content from industry thought leader Christy Lamagna.

Lamagna is the founder and chief strategist of Strategic Meetings & Events, a global, full service corporate meeting and strategic event management company that specializes in producing events which achieve clients’ marketing and sales goals.

“Being part of a team that focuses on the needs of mid to senior level planners thrills me,” said Lamagna.

She added, “Having a forum that is dedicated to explaining the difference between event planning and strategic planning is another step towards my goal of helping the industry evolve. We need to shift the perception of event management away from being viewed as a hobby to being viewed as a highly skilled profession.”

Corporate Event News reaches more than 10,000 event professionals worldwide through a free weekly e-newsletter, social media channels, and online articles.

"We are delighted to be working with Christy,” said Corporate Event News Editor Danalynne Menegus.

She added, “Our audience is primarily made up of mid- and senior-level event professionals who need to prove their business value to their leadership teams. Christy will be sharing knowledge and expertise to help provide guidance and spark ideas for ways they can become more successful and increase their visibility within their organizations.”

The “Get Strategic with Christy Lamagna” blog also includes posts that Lamagna has written for Corporate Event News since our launch in September 2017.

The blog can be found in the navigation bar drop-down under the Blog section of Corporate Event News. To read it now, go HERE
