AlliedPRA to Acquire Destination Nashville

AlliedPRA, Inc., one of the nation's largest event planning and full-service destination management companies, on Feb. 7 announced that it will acquire Destination Nashville, the DMC leader in the Nashville market.

This acquisition provides AlliedPRA with an increased presence in the Nashville market, which in 2017 attracted 14.5 million visitors, an increase of 4.6 percent from 2016 which set a new record.

As a leading event management and solutions firm in the nation, AlliedPRA serves many of the most respected brands within every major industry sector. Tony Lorenz, CMM, chief executive officer of AlliedPRA, Inc. stated that the organization’s clients were asking for a larger footprint in Nashville.

Destination Nashville specializes in unique events, entertainment, coordination of tours and transportation, custom in-house team building activities and a host of other needs in the business events space. Destination Nashville is the preferred DMC partner for Nashville’s leading hotels.

Marko will serve as an active strategic advisor to AlliedPRA. Jackie Marko, CMP, DMCP, associate director of sales for Destination Nashville and co-founder of the Nashville chapter of the International Live Events Association (ILEA), will continue to oversee day-to-day operations, working closely with Mike Fiber, AlliedPRA’s chief operating officer.

Marko commented on AlliedPRA’s reputation for operational excellence and strategic vision, and looks forward to being a part of the organization.
