2018 SPIN:40 Over 40 Awards Call for Nominations

June 5, 2018

SPIN:Senior Planners Industry Network is encouraging meeting planner “veterans” to apply for SPIN:40 Over 40 2018, which recognizes and honors planners who are industry role models, influencers, innovators and pioneers.

SPIN is the world’s largest association for senior-level planners. All hospitality professionals who have at least 10 years of experience are eligible to join. SPIN:40 over 40 was introduced in 2017, and the inaugural list of honorees was announced at SPINCon 2017.

Nominations are being accepted from Jun. 1 to Jun. 25, 2018. Applicants must be at least 40 years old, have more than 10 years of experience as a meeting planner, and still be actively planning full or part time. SPIN membership is not required.

A selection committee will choose the final 40 honorees and each will receive two free registrations (one for the honoree, and one for their nominator or a fellow qualified planner*), for SPINCon, SPIN’s annual educational conference, where honorees will be recognized in a ceremony among their peers.

SPINCon 2018 will be held Nov. 11-13 at the DonCesar in St. Petersburg, Florida.

*To attend SPINCon, all planners must have at least 10 years of planner experience; suppliers can only attend in a sponsorship capacity.
